Serial Range: 40xxxxx-66xxxxx, L series

While the Mark 4 doesn’t have an accepted nickname, I call this one the Gumby Coronet since it’s ridiculously tall and looks like the crown was stretched out like our favorite 1950’s cartoon character. Like the odd numbered iterations that surround the Mark 4, this dial does appears to have been used in an odd distribution as well, showing up in the 4-6m range, disappearing, and then returning during the final L series in 1989.

The Tell: Just look at the crown. It’s tall. Like Dutch person tall. Shaq tall. Tall like the stacks of money that Jeff Bezos has throughout his house. Need I go on?
